Cumberland County Medical Reserve Corps:

Profile: Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency has recognized the need for a County MRC since the H1N1 outbreak. We are the largest population center ~265,000 in the State of Maine. We are partnered with the Southern Maine Regional Resource Center, The Maine CDC SNS and CRI program, the American Red Cross/Cumberland County EMA Regional Sheltering program – FAST Team (Functional Assesement Service Teams) and the regional hospitals and the Cumberland County District Public Health Committee.to provide:

FAST Team support
Alternate Care Site auxullary staff volunteers
Point of Dispensing Clinics (PODS) for the Maine City Readiness Initiative (CRI)
Mass Vacination Clinics auxillary staff.

Profile: York County Medical Reserve Corp is hosted by University of New England, and the York County Public Health District and Adcare Maine. The following are areas for services provided:

Point of Dispensing Clinics (PODS) for the Maine City Readiness Initiative (CRI)
Mass Vacination Clinics auxillary staff.

Midcoast Medical Reserve Corps:

Profile: Midcoast Medical Reserve Corp MRC units are made up of both medical and non-medical volunteers interested in supporting their community during a disaster or public health emergency. This new local MRC unit will serve the Midcoast Public Health District, which includes Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc and Waldo counties. The following are being considered as areas for services provided:
